Like butter wouldn't melt

Notre mère s'est encore fait avoir comme une débutante aujourd'hui... Ce weekend, elle a enlevé les biscuits que l'on avait accrochés au sapin de Noel,  les a posés sur les étagères et puis les a complètement oubliés. Evidemment, nous non. Ce soir, après avoir fini la vaisselle, elle nous a trouvé en flagrant délit de vol de biscuits !!!

You'd think our mum would know better by now ... This weekend, she took down all the Christmas biscuits from the Christmas tree. She put them on the shelves and forgot about them. Of course, we didn't. Tonight, after she'd finished the washing up, she caught us red handed scoffing them all !!!

Luge ! - Sledge !

Nous voilà de retour à Glasgow et il y a ENCORE de la neige !

On s'est habillés bien chaudement (merci Manou pour les combines) et on est partis à Alexandra Park pour notre bapteme de luge. Une fois que Noah a fini par accepter que la luge fonctionnerait mieux sur la neige, on s'est bien amusés. Et le top du top? C'était pour les parents, la sieste de 3 heures qui a suivie !

Here we are, back in Glasgow and it's been snowing AGAIN !

We wrapped up warm and headed for Alexandra Park for our first (successful) sledging session. When Noah finally accepted that the sledge would work better on the snow we had a brilliant time. And you know what was best? It was for the parents, our 3 hours nap afterwards ! 

Bye bye Clio

Bien avant notre naissance, Papa et Maman avait une Renault Clio. Evidemment, quand ils ont su qu'ils allaient avoir deux crevettes, ils ont acheté un modèle plus grand. Depuis la Clio se languissait dans l'allée de Grandad et Nana. Aujourd'hui un remorqueur est venu la chercher pour l'amener au paradis des Clios... Papa et Maman étaient très émus, nous on a vraiment aimé le spectacle !

Well before we were born, Mummy and Daddy had a Renault Clio. Of course when they found out they were having not one but two babies, they had to upgrade for a bigger model. Since then, the Clio was languishing on Grandad and Nana's driveway. Today, a car transporter came to take her away to the big Clio car park in the sky ... Mummy and Daddy were quite emotional but we just really enjoyed the show !  

Noel de tonton Gaetan

Cet après midi, tonton Gaetan est venu nous voir avant que l'on reparte pour le Grand Nord. Il en a profité pour ouvrir ses cadeaux d'Ecosse (ou de Suède plus précisément) et nous, nous avons ouvert nos derniers paquets! Merci Gaetan pour nos beaux habits, les filles vont tomber comme des mouches à la crèche!

This afternoon, we had a last visit from uncle Gaetan before we go back up North. He finally opened his presents from Scotland (or Sweden actually) and we opened the last of our Christmas presents!

Tandem

A notre arrivée chez Manou, il n'y avait qu'un petit tricycle. Noah l'a adopté tout de suite mais Liam en aurait bien voulu un aussi... Heureusement Chantal a eu l'idée lumineuse de demander à Déborah l'ancien petit tricycle d'Eloi. A nous les courses entre le salon et la cuisine. Mais finalement, ce qui nous fait le plus rire? A deux sur le meme !

When we arrived at Manou's there was only one small trike. Noah claimed it as his own but Liam wanted one too... Luckily Chantal had the brilliant idea to ask Deborah if we could borrow Eloi's old one. So much fun racing against each other between the kitchen and the lounge. But in the end, what did we enjoy most? Riding the same one !

Chez Daniel et Sylvie

Aujourd'hui,nous sommes allés prendre l'apéro chez Daniel et Sylvie. On a découvert un beau cheval à bascule qui nous a vraiment bien amusés. Après le cheval, nous étions un peu fatigués et nous avons fait une sieste improvisée sur le tapis de l'entrée!

Today we went to visit Daniel and Sylvie. We discovered a great rocking horse and had a whale of a time with it (we didn't even fight to take turns!). After all that rocking and running, we were a bit tired and had an improvised nap on the doormat !

Bonne année - Happy New Year

Aujourd'hui, c'est le Nouvel An. Maman nous a mis sur notre 31 et on est partis passer la journée à Montdardier. A peine arrivés, pendant que les grands prenaient l'apéro, on s'est isolés sur le balcon pour se bouloter un paquet de Pringles. C'est sûr que par rapport aux températures glaciales de l'Ecosse, le sud de la France, c'est tropical!

Nous avons aussi fait connaissance de notre petit cousin Louis (le fils de David, le cousin de Maman, et de Cécile). Il avait très envie de nous rejoindre ... L'année prochaine, quand Louis et Flavie marcheront, on s'organise une contre-partie sur le balcon !

Today, it's the New Year. Mummy got us all dressed up and we went to spend the day in Montdardier. While the grown ups were enjoying their pre-meal drinks, we hid on the balcony to polish off the Pringles in peace. Obviously, compared to freezing Scotand, temperatures in the south of France are positively tropical !

It was also the first time we met our little cousin Louis (he is the son of Mummy's cousin David and auntie Emma's friend Cécile). He was desperate to join us on our pic nic ... next year when both Louis and Flavie are walking, we'll organise the best New Year party on that balcony !
