Clandestino

Début janvier, nos parents ont eu une grosse surprise. Apparemment, au mois de septembre on aura un petit frère ou une petite soeur.
Liam veut une petite soeur, et elle s'appellera Rose.
Noah veut un petit frère mais il accepterait une petite soeur tant qu'on l'appelle Fireman Sam.

At the beginning of Janurary, our parents had a bit of a surprise. Apparently, come September we will have a baby brother or baby sister.
Liam wants a baby sister who will be called Rose.
Noah wants a baby brother but would be happy to compromise on a baby sister, as long as she's called Fireman Sam.
Aujourd'hui, nos parents sont allés revoir le bébé à la visite des 20 semaines. Il a bien grandi depuis la première fois en février. Il est en pleine forme, et en pleine santé aussi. Il fait des cabrioles mais s'est quand meme laissé tirer le portrait pour le blog.

Today, our parents went for Mum's 20 weeks check up and got the chance to see the baby again. He's grown a lot since the first scan in February. He's really healthy and everything looked good. He was on top form, doing sommersaults but he kept still long enough to have his photo taken.

Il va falloir changer le nom du blog !!!

Et ça s'arrondit encore et encore ... j'en suis maintenant à 14 kilos de plus et un tour de taille de 110 cm ... Je suis toujours en forme, pas toujours très gracieuse et élégante mais on ne peut pas se plaindre!

This bump is getting bigger and bigger ... I am now 30 pounds heavier than I was and a 44in waist, if you can still call it a waist ! But still feeling great most of the time - not that graceful but you can't have everything!

C'est des jumeaux!!! It's twins !!!

Les photos ne sont pas de très bonne qualité et on dirait plutôt les images satellites d'un cyclone mais ce qui est sur, c'est qu'il y a bien deux bébés!

The scan pictures are not actually that great and they look more like a hurricane forecast than anything else but what is certain is that there are two of them !

Le début - The beginning

J'ai fait mon premier test de grossesse le 1er avril, comme ça sans trop y croire... Le test était positif et je me suis demandée si les employés de chez Clearblue avaient préparé des boîtes spécial poisson d'Avril! Le pire c'est que je ne pouvais rien dire à Lee parce qu'il était en plein stress à cause d'un projet super important à finir au boulot avant le vendredi. Dur dur de garder le secret mais à ce moment là, je n'y croyais pas encore vraiment de toutes façons!

I took my first pregnancy test on the 1st of April, not really believing I was actually pregnant but since the box was there in the bathroom cabinet, why not ... But the test was positive and for a while I started wondering if the staff at Clearblue had been making special boxes for April's Fool! The worse thing was that I couldn't actually tell Lee because he was so busy and stressed out by a big project he had to finish at work before the Friday. It was quite hard keeping it from him but, at that point in time I hadn't actually taken the news in myself anyway!
