Mario Kart

Lee a initié les garçons aux joies de la console avec un jeu de Mario Kart. Noah se débrouille super bien mais Liam a un peu plus de mal ...Ca agace Noah mais nous, on rigole bien!

Lee's introduced Liam and Noah to the thrills of the Wii with a game of Mario Kart. Noah picked it up straight away but it was a bit more of a challenge for Liam ... Noah got really frustrated watching him but we had a good laugh!

Au bout d'un moment, Lee lui est venu à l'aide!

Eventually, Lee came to the rescue!

Troon

Et oui, même en Ecosse on peut aller à la plage pendant les vacances de Pâques!
L'eau était quand même bien frisquette pour Finn et moi mais les deux courageux se sont mis en maillot et sont allés patauger au bord de l'eau. Finn lui préfère le pique-nique et les châteaux de sable!

You don't have to wait for the summer holidays for a trip to the beach!
Although the water was a bit too cold for Finn and me, Liam and Noah were a lot braver and put their swimming trunks on for a paddle in the waves. Finn would rather have a picnic and build destroy sandcastles!

Et bien sûr, aucune visite à la plage ne serait complète sans une glace!
And of course, no trip to the beach would be complete without a 99!

Sauf pour le pauvre Finn qui a succombé à la fatigue ...
Except for Finn who couldn't fight sleep any longer ...

Jardinage - Gardening

Le printemps et les températures douces se font encore un peu désirer, mais il est temps de commencer les semis. Au programme aujourd'hui, citrouilles, petits pois et tournesols (ben oui, on y croit au soleil!). Finn a observé les opérations pendant un petit moment mais il ne voulait pas toucher ni terreau, ni graines et pour finir, l'appel du toboggan a été plus fort!

Even though spring is not quite in full swing yet, we thought it was time to get cracking with our first sowings. On the cards today, pumpkins, garden peas and sunflowers (for the one day of sunshine we might get this summer). Finn was paying attention to the proceedings but he wasn't too keen on getting his hands dirty and in the end, the chute seemed a lot more appealing! 

Trampoline

Aujourd'hui c'est jour de lessive pour les draps de notre lit et exceptionnellement, les garçons ont le droit de rebondir sur le matelas. Evidemment, ils ne se sont pas faits prier!

Today is wash day for our bedding; this is the only time when the boys are allowed to bounce on our bed and obviously, I didn't need to tell them twice! 

Finn et son Tom, inséparables ...

Train

 Ce matin au saut du lit, Noah a sorti les rails et le train et il est très concentré sur son ouvrage.

Au début, Finn observe sagement, mais bientôt, il veut toucher bien sûr!

 "Maman, tu l'enlèves du milieu ton bébé?!" 

Finalement, Finn est passé à autre chose.*

Et Noah peut enfin profiter de son train en paix!

* Et si vous vous demandiez où est passé Finn: il est allé embêter son autre grand frère bien sûr!
