We've had that musical board for ages... Remember in September (click here)? Six months later and we still love it, especially when we "compose" with four hands ...

Nando's (Stirling)

Aujourd'hui, on a amené les parents à Nando's (une chaine de restaurants qui vent principalement du poulet et des plats bien épicés). Maman cette ringarde n'y était jamais allée mais elle a beaucoup aimé et nous aussi, surtout la pitta et l'houmous! Papa était content d'avoir enfin converti Maman :)

Today, we took the parents to Nando's. Our boring old Mum had never set foot in a Nando's before but enjoyed her mild (!) chicken while we tucked in some pitta bread and hummus. Daddy was so happy to have finally converted Mum :)

Jackson Five

Ce matin Liam s'est réveillé avec une coupe du tonnerre!

Mister C

Vous l'avez certainement vu trainer dans de nombreuses photos... d'abord dans le lit de Noah, puis dans le salon et maintenant de plus en plus souvent en balade avec nous, dans la poussette ou dans la voiture. Il nous suit partout, même dans l'avion, et Noah ne peut pas vivre sans. Un coup de fatigue, un chagrin, un bobo, il est là, une dent qui pousse et qui fait mal, un cauchemar au milieu de la nuit, il est là. Les câlins avec Maman ne suffisent pas, il faut qu'il soit là aussi. C'est Mister C, le doudou de Noah. Ca vient de Mister Caterpillar, Monsieur Chenille et c'est Lee qui l'a baptisé ainsi. A voir comment Noah l'appelera ...

PS. Non il ne pouvait pas trouver plus gros comme doudou!

You must have seen "him" kicking around on a number of photos... first in Noah's bed, then in the lounge and now, more and more often on outings, in the buggy or in the car. "He" follows us everywhere, even in the plane going to France, and Noah just can't leave without "him". Feeling tired, sad or hurting, "he"'s here, a tooth coming through, a nightmare in the middle of the night, "he"'s here. Cuddles with Mummy are never good enough if he's not here. "He" is Mr C, Noah's comforter - short for Mr Caterpillar and nicknamed by Daddy. Let's see what Noah decides to call him ...

PS. And no, Noah couldn't find anything bigger!

Machine à remonter le temps - Time travelling

Depuis quelques temps, notre douche ne marche plus après avoir inondé la salle de bains et celle du voisin. Aujourd'hui pour compliquer les choses, la chaudière s'est mise en grève. Plus de chauffage et surtout plus d'eau chaude pour le bain. Pas de problème, notre maman trouve toujours une solution. Le feu dans la cheminée pour réchauffer le salon et une bassine remplie à la bouillote comme au bon vieux temps. Noah a adoré l'expérience, par contre Liam n'était pas très content, il a boudé et carrément refusé de s'asseoir!

Since our shower packed up after flodding both our bathroom and the downstairs neighbour, we all take daily baths. But today the boiler randomly stopped working: no heating and no hot water for the bath! Mum was not going to be beaten by a temperemental boiler. The gas heater went on in the lounge and a washing up bowl filled with the kettle for an old fashioned bath experience. Noah loved it and didn't want to get out of the water but Liam ... he was sulking and refused to sit down!
