With the summer on its way, Mummy fancied a new look for her windows. Being no stranger to child labour, she put us to work on her window boxes ...

Après notre quart d'heure Nicolas le jardinier, on a eu le droit de s'amuser avec les jouets de nos voisins Ryan et Gemma ! Noah a un faible pour la trotinette et Liam pour le landeau.

After our Monty Don moment, we amused ourselves with our neighbours Ryan and Gemma's toys ! Noah is really keen on Ryan's scooter while Liam prefers Gemma's pram.

Les cloches sont passées chez Grandad et Nana et nous sommes partis à la chasse aux oeufs armés de nos petits sacs personnalisés par Manou!

Train

Noah est un grand fan de son train Ikéa mais gare à Liam si il s'amuse à faire dérailler les wagons!

Noah really likes his Ikea train but Liam'd better watch out if he messes with the carriages!

Alexandra Park

Après Hogganfield Loch il y a quelques semaines, nous avons aujourd'hui fait notre retour à Alexandra Park. Il ne faisait pas très chaud et en plus le toboggan ne descendait pas très bien ...

We went back to Hogganfield Loch a few weeks ago and today, it was our old stomping ground: Alexandra Park. It wasn't really warm and we weren't that impressed with the slides ...

Et au fait, la cariole a repris du service! Il faut vraiment que maman se trouve un vélo parce qu'elle a du mal à suivre ;)

Oh and by the way, the trailer is out again! Mummy really needs to get herself a bike because she really struggles following us ;)

Barbecue

Ce weekend, le printemps s'installe pour de bon et le mercure monte! Les parents ont des envies de grillade et comme on n'a plus notre potager pour aller se faire un barbecue tranquille, on s'est installés dans le jardin communal. Liam a pris un cours d'allumage de feu et visiblement, les saucisses étaient au goût de tout le monde !

This weekend, spring is hotting up! The parents fancied a barbecue and since we don't have the allotment anymore, we ended up in the communal back garden. Liam had a lesson on lighting a barbecue and everyone enjoyed the sausages !

Valeur sûre - Fail-safe meal

Pour les soirs où Maman n'a pas envie de faire la cuisine ou pas envie de se battre pour nous faire manger nos petits pois, il y a toujours les oeufs à la coque !

Balloch Castle Country Park (on Mother's Day)

Aujourd'hui c'était la fete des mères en Ecosse et pour l'occasion on est allés passer la journée à Balloch sur les berges de Loch Lomond.

Après un bon petit repas, nous sommes allés se promener à Balloch Castle Country Park.

Today it was Mother's Day in Britain and we decided to spend the day in Balloch, on the banks of bonny Loch Lomond.

After a nice meal, we spent the afternoon in Balloch Castle Country Park.

A Balloch Castle, il y a une chouette aire de jeux avec une vue imprenable sur le loch depuis le tobbogan !

At Balloch Castle, there is a great playpark with an amazing view over the loch, especially from the top of the chute! 

On a redécouvert les tobbogans sur lesquels on avait fait nos premières descentes il y a deux ans avec Papa. On est bien capable de faire tout seul maintenant, mais les parents se sont payés un petit quart d'heure nostalgie...

We rediscovered the slides on which we had our first slide experience two years ago with Daddy. We are more than capable to go down on our own now but the parents went on a little trip down memory lane ...

A Balloch, il y a aussi des pelleteuses qui ont bien amusé Papa et Noah !

In Balloch, they also have little diggers which were a lot of fun for Noah and Daddy !

Et à Balloch, il y a bien sur Loch Lomond dans lequel on peut faire des ricochets, jeter des cailloux et des branches et aussi essayer de se mouiller les pieds. Mais Maman veille au grain !

And in Balloch, there is of course Loch Lomond where we can try and skip stones (well Daddy can), throw stones and sticks and try and get our feet wet. But Mummy is watching !
