Ribchester

Aujourd'hui, nous avons bravé la neige et le froid et sommes allés nous promener à Ribchester où nous nous sommes bien amusés sur les balançoires et les toboggans.

Today, we braved the cold and snow and went to Ribchester and had a lot of fun with Kai and Eva on the swings and the slides.

Et pour la première fois, nous étions dans DEUX poussettes. Les parents ont trouvé que ça facilitait bien les choses, surtout quand on est allés prendre le goûter dans un salon de thé avec une toute petite porte!

And for the first time we went for a ride in TWO puschairs instead of our usual double buggy. The parents found the experience extremely liberating and it made things a lot easier, especially when we went for a hot drink (and an ice cream!) in a local café with a very narrow door!

Aujourd'hui, on étrenne les nouveaux cadeaux, on commence avec la piscine à balles.

Enfin... des balles il n'y en avait plus après 5 minutes vu qu'on les a toutes jetées par dessus bord!

Today, we're trying out our new presents, starting with the ball pool .

Mind you... after 5 minutes there weren't any balls left, we'd thrown them all overboard!

Christmas Part 2

Ca y est, les vacances en France sont finies, maintenant, c'est les vacances en Angleterre!

Kai et Eva sont aussi en vacances chez Grandad et Nana et nous avons fêté Noël tous ensemble.Voici l'ouverture des cadeaux!

Our French holiday is over but we still have another week of holiday in England!

Kai and Eva are also staying at Loudbridge Farm so that we can all celebrate Christmas together. First stop, presents opening!

Les cadeaux - Presents

Chers lecteurs,

Nous voudrions ici vous adresser nos très sincères excuses. Malgré le fait que le matin de Noël, nous étions 6 adultes équipés de 3 appareils photo ET un caméscope, il semblerait qu'aucun de nous n'ait eu la présence d'esprit d'immortaliser l'ouverture des cadeaux de Noël. Oui c'est la honte.

We would like to offer you our most sincere apology. Despite the fact that on Christmas morning, we were 6 adults equipped with 3 cameras AND a video camera, it would appear that none of us had the inteligence to record the opening of the presents. It is very embarassing.

Aujourd'hui Noah (alias le clown) a appris un nouveau numéro pour amuser la galerie: le lancer de cylindre en plastique par la bouche ... On n'a pas encore contacté le livre des records mais il va pas mal loin!

Today Noah learned a new trick to entertain his French audience: spitting this green plastic cylinder as far as possible... He's not quite ready for the guiness book of records but he's getting there!

Bon anniversaire Maman

Aujourd'hui, on s'est fait beau pour l'anniversaire de Maman.

Today we dressed up for Mum's birthday. Don't we look smart?

Malgré la bronchiolite, Noah a toujours de l'appétit. Il s'est enfilé un gâteau tout entier!

And despite being diagnosed with bronchiolitis yesterday, Noah hasn't lost his apetite. He ate an entire bunny shaped cake all by himself!

On n'est pas trop en forme ni l'un ni l'autre, mais les parents ont quand même assurés et la maison est décorée. Et même si on est allés à la crèche en pointillés ces derniers jours, on a eu le temps de préparer de belles cartes et des boules à accrocher au sapin!

Les parents sont en vacances pour deux semaines (hourrah!) et on a tous bien hâte de passer Noël à Montferrier et Loudbridge Farm.

We're not feeling too great but the parents are pressing on with the Christmas spirit, the tree is up and the house decorated. And even if we haven't been at nursery much the past few days, we still managed to make some nice Christmas cards and some baubles to hang from the tree!

The parents are now on holidays for two whole weeks (hooray!) and we are looking forward to Christmas both in Montferrier and at Loudbridge Farm.

Carton - Cardboard box

Pendant que son frère couve la bronchiolite, Noah s'amuse comme un petit fou avec un carton ! Pourquoi on dépense autant en jouets?

While his brother is struggling with bronchiolitis, Noah is having a whale of a time with a cardboard box! Why do we spend so much money on toys?

Liam malade

Ce weekend Liam est malade, il tousse très fort, il a le nez qui coule et il dort tout le temps. On ne le saura que plus tard dans la semaine, mais c'est la bronchiolite... Il ne vous fait pas de la peine?

This weekend Liam is ill. He coughs a lot, with a runny nose and he sleeps most of the time. We will only find out later next week but it's the start of the bronchiolitis. Do you not feel sorry for him ...?

Mr Bricolage

Vous vous rappelez il y a quelques jours on vous diait que Noah se levait dans son lit?

Ce weekend, Papa a sorti la trousse à outil (enfin la clé allen à tout faire de Mr Ikéa) et il a descendu les lits d'un cran. Liam était drolement intéressé par le bricolage, Noah lui attendait que tout ça soit fini pour pouvoir enfin aller faire sa sieste!



Do you remember when we told you that Noah was standing up in bed?

This weekend, Daddy put on his DIY cap and lowered the cots to the lowest level. Liam was really interested by Daddy's handywork whie Noah was waiting patiently to start his nap!

Washing machine

Noah trouve que Maman a bien trop de travail avec deux petits garçons alors ce soir, il a décidé de mettre en route une machine pour lui donner un coup de main.

C'est pas Liam qui ferait ça, la machine à laver le terrorise et il ne risque pas de mettre les pieds dans la cuisine si la machine tourne, encore moins de venir la remplir!

Noah thinks that Mummy is a bit overworked with two little boys, so tonight, he decided to give her a hand and load up the washing machine.

You wouldn't find Liam doing that, he is absolutely terrified of the washing machine and stays well clear of the kitchen when the machine is on!
