Et voilà, aujourd'hui c'est notre dernier jour dans la peau de petits garçons de "deuzan". Demain nous soufflerons nos trois bougies. Un peu d'émotion pour les parents mais nous, on est plutot relax...

That's it, our last day as two year olds. Tomorrow, we will blow our three candles. Our parents are a little bit emotional but we are rather chilled about the whole thing ...

Bonfire Night

Le 5 novembre au Royaume Uni, c'est Bonfire Night. A mi-chemin entre le 14 juillet et les feux de la St Jean, feux d'artifice et feux de joie. Pour la première fois, le 5 novembre tombait un samedi soir et nous sommes allés voir le feu d'artifice de la mairie sur Glasgow Green. On était excités toute la journée et on a adoré notre premier feu d'artifice! Et pour l'occasion on a meme eu notre première barbapapa. On n'était pas trop sûrs au début de ce que Papa nous avait acheté mais après la première bouchée, nos doutes se sont envolés !

For the first time since we were born, Bonfire Night fell on a Saturday so we got the chance to go and see the fireworks on Glasgow Green. We were super excited all day long and our first fireworks didn't disappoint, we really enjoyed it! And to make it even more special, we had a taste of our first candyfloss. We weren't too sure at first but after the first bite, we were sold!

Halloween

Aujourd'hui il y avait une fete à la crèche pour Halloween. On n'a pas voulu se déguiser mais on a accepté de porter nos tee-shirts squelette et citrouille - et on s'est laissé maquiller!

PS - désolé les photos ont été prises après la fete et notre maquillage a un peu coulé ...

Today the nursery had a party for Halloween. We refused to get dressed up but agreed to wear our Halloween tee-shirts, squeleton and pumpkin - and we even let the ladies at nursery paint our faces!

Ca déménage!

Attention ne vous emballez pas les amis, notre appart est toujours en vente. Mais comme on ne déménage toujours pas, on commençait à etre un peu à l'étroit dans notre chambre. Le weekend dernier, on a échangé de chambre avec les parents. On a maintenant la grande chambre pour nous! Ce week end nous étions donc en mission à Ikéa pour acheter des grands lits ! Bye bye les lits à barreaux ...

Comme les parents aiment faire d'une pierre plusieurs coups, ils en aussi profité pour acheter une belle grande armoire pour leur nouvelle chambre ainsi qu'un nouveau canapé pour le salon. Pour ramener tout ça à la maison, on avait loué une camionette et qu'est ce qu'on s'est marré !!!

Don't get excited people, we still haven't sold our flat. But since we're not moving, our bedroom was starting to get a bit too small for us. Last weekend, we swaped bedrooms with the parents and we now live in the big bedroom, woohoo! This weekend, we were on a big Ikea mission. First we had to get some big beds - bye bye cots! And since the parents like to kill many birds with one stone, they also decided to replace their old canvas wardobes by a new shiny one and also get a new sofa for the lounge. Obviously all this stuff wouldn't fit in the Alfa so we had to rent a van and we had a whale of a time !!!
